VR

Facebook buying Oculus Rift is interesting - more and more gamers are now no longer coming from traditional gaming companies like Sony, Microsoft, or Nintendo  - but iPads, iPhones, iPod Touches, and Android devices. 

Sony is making a play on VR and with those two BIG companies in the mix, MAYBE this is the generation where we see it reintroduced and possibly thrive. 

There have been false forays into VR already - VirtuaBoy, Sony glasstron. Nintendo and Microsoft are warranted in being wary. 

But IF VR takes off, you can bet there will be a scramble to introduce it just like how Sony scrambled with Sixaxis and Microsoft with Kinect after Nintendo had success with the Wii. 

Hopefully VR has more staying power than the already floundering (is there still hope?) motion gaming.
